Are you a seasoned claims professional who enjoys solving problems, collaborating with experts, and making a meaningful impact for public entities across Nebraska? Nebraska Risk Management Association (NRMA) is looking for an experienced Multiline Claims Adjuster to join our dedicated team.

About the Role

In this role, you’ll take the lead on a wide variety of property and casualty claims, guiding them from first notice through resolution. You’ll work closely with state and local government officials and personnel, state and local governing bodies, legal counsel, and other stakeholders to ensure fair, efficient, and well-documented outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Conducting thorough claim investigations
  • Documenting facts and confirming policy coverages
  • Analyzing losses and exposure
  • Estimating repair costs
  • Negotiating settlements
  • Managing files from start to finish with professionalism and sound judgment

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 3 years of progressively responsible property and casualty claims adjusting experience
  • Strong working knowledge of claims procedures and coverage interpretation
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Valid Nebraska driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the state
  • Familiarity with the Nebraska State Tort Claims Act and the Nebraska Political Subdivisions Tort Claims Act is a plus
  • College degree preferred; AIC or similar professional designation desirable
