Events
Training and continuing education are a priority for NIRMA, and something our members embrace. That’s why each year we conduct a broad range of seminars and programs intended not only to educate member county officials and employees, but also empower them.
Annual Conference
This two-day event scheduled each October in central Nebraska brings together a wealth of expertise to share with member officials the latest in proven risk management, loss control and claims management activities that will help members avoid liability risks and ultimately save taxpayer dollars that might have been spent to pay claims. Also as part of this event, NIRMA pays tribute to those selected to receive annual awards, and the membership elects representatives to serve on the NIRMA Board of Directors.
Regional Events
To reach a maximum number of participants, NIRMA regularly takes to the road to conduct regional training seminars and workshops that are conveniently located at multiple locations across the state.
No Events
Virtual Programs/Webinars
Understanding that it is not always possible or financially feasible to ask member officials and employees to take time away from work and travel to attend an in-person training program, and to communicate timely updates and information, NIRMA may schedule telephonic or virtual webinars.
