CIVIL LITIGATION ATTORNEY
Unique opportunity available for an experienced civil litigation attorney to join a small, collaborative litigation practice dedicated to representing Nebraska counties. Focus areas include federal civil rights, employment, and governmental tort claim matters. Nebraska Intergovernmental Risk Management Association (NIRMA) is a self-insurance and risk management pool comprised of county and select county-related public agency members that partners with trusted law firms to provide the highest quality legal representation for its members. The successful candidate would join one of these independent firms located in southeast Lincoln, and have an employment arrangement with a PSLF-qualifying nonprofit public benefit corporation designated as one of Lincoln’s 2025 “Best Places to Work.” Admission to practice or ability to become admitted to practice law in the State of Nebraska, the Federal District Court for the District of Nebraska, and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals required. Three or more years of litigation experience required, with 10 or more years preferred. Competitive salary and benefits available. Position is full-time with occasional statewide travel.
