NIRMA is currently accepting applications from elected and appointed officials in member counties and agencies who would like to be considered to fill a vacancy that will occur on the NIRMA Board of Directors effective January 1.
The individual who is appointed will complete the term of a current board member who will be leaving county government at the end of this year. This NIRMA Board term will run through December 31, 2026.
The application form may be accessed by clicking HERE. Notice of the vacancy, along with a copy of the application form, was also recently sent to all member officials by mail and email. As specified in the Notice of vacancy, those interested in applying should complete and return the application form to NIRMA Executive Director Craig Nelson by no later than the close of business on Thursday, December 5, 2024.
Applications will be reviewed by members of the NIRMA Nominating Committee, who may look to interview prospective candidates by phone before forwarding any finalists to the full NIRMA Board for consideration, and it is the NIRMA Board that will fill this vacancy.
