NIRMA is currently accepting applications from elected and appointed officials in member counties and agencies who would like to be considered for one of four positions on the NIRMA Board of Directors. These seats will be decided by election at the Annual Association Membership Meeting on October 24 at the Younes Conference Center North in Kearney. Elections are to a three-year term beginning January 1, 2026.
Notice of the opportunity to apply was recently sent to all member officials by email. As specified in that Memorandum with attached eligibility information and Nomination/Application Form, those eligible and interested in applying should complete and return the form to NIRMA Executive Director Andrea Thieman by no later than the close of business on Monday, September 22, 2025.
Applications will be reviewed by members of the NIRMA Nominating Committee, and that Committee will prepare the slate of candidates.
The four members of the NIRMA Board whose terms will expire December 31, 2025, with each seeking re-election, are:
Lane Anderson, Keith County Commissioner
Larry Cerny, Fillmore County Supervisor
Bonnie Moore, Sarpy County Administrator
Eric Stinson, Madison County Commissioner
