When a NIRMA member experiences a cybersecurity incident, it should be immediately reported, ideally through the report button in the eRisk Hub.
This notification enables NIRMA to act quickly to assign an experienced cyber breach coach to evaluate the incident. The cyber breach coach will coordinate with all necessary players to mitigate any damage, consider legal impacts, and more.
Attorney Matt Meade is a cyber breach coach who has assisted several NIRMA members with cybersecurity incidents. He is also a past presenter at NIRMA’s Self Defense for County Officials Conference.
