After close monitoring and contact with multiple registrants and our presenters about the weather conditions across northwest Nebraska, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel the Gering Civic Center location of the Investing in Your Leaders Seminar that was intended to be held on Wednesday, April 5. We are disappointed and apologize for any inconvenience this decision may cause. Of course, the safety of our traveling members, presenters, and staff must always be the top priority, and early indications from registrants over the past 24 hours indicate that the number of those able to make it to the seminar would have been significantly reduced. Each of the other four regional seminar locations will proceed as scheduled.
We encourage those registered for the Gering seminar to attend the next day’s scheduled seminar at Haythorn Ranch on Thursday, April 6, when the weather is expected to be more favorable. We are advised that additional attendees can be accommodated there on a limited basis. We ask that you contact us by emailing pat@nirma.info or calling the NIRMA office at 402.742-9220 if you wish to switch your registration from Gering to Haythorn Ranch/Ogallala.
