NIRMA recently presented a webinar entitled “Spring Cleaning: Ensure Your Employee Handbook is Tidy.”

During the webinar, experienced labor law attorneys Pam Bourne and Ashley Connell reviewed the latest updates/revisions to NIRMA’s model Employee Handbook, and new legal developments impacting employee handbooks.

We thank those who were able to participate.  If you weren’t able to attend, or if you had trouble accessing the ShareFile of materials during the webinar, please remember that NIRMA member officials with supervisory responsibilities can always download a copy of the most current NIRMA model employee handbook (which is Exhibit 2 in the NIRMA Guide to Creating a Personnel System for Nebraska Counties) from our website. Simply log in on the website, navigate to the Interact menu, select Manuals/Policies, and scroll down to the link to Download Fillable Word Exhibits.

All NIRMA contact persons, county board chairs, clerks, and county attorneys also received a post-webinar email (it was sent on 3-10-23) providing a direct link to access the updated Employee Handbook and the powerpoint slides from the presentation.
